How to avoid tangled chains

All fine jewelry (especially dainty chains) can tangle, but try opening each necklace and holding the clasp to let any twists in the chain spin out. Put your first one back on, then add your additional necklaces and swipe your fingers through them throughout the day. This keeps them separated and works wonderfully!

If you get knots or tangles in your jewelry, you can use a needle or safety pin to work the tangle out. This allows for a closer and more precise hand.

  1. Undo the clasp. If your necklace has a clasp or latch, undo it.
  2. Lay out your necklace on a flat surface.
  3. Take two needles (or safety pins) and use it to undo the knots.
